Accessibility Statement

Hirebyai is committed to ensuring our platform is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that access to employment opportunities should never be limited by technology barriers.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. We are an early-stage platform and actively work to improve accessibility with each development cycle.

We have taken the following steps to improve accessibility:

• Semantic HTML structure with appropriate landmark regions
• Colour contrast ratios that meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards (minimum 4.5:1 for text)
• Full keyboard navigation support across all interactive elements
• Focus indicators visible on all interactive controls
• Screen reader compatible ARIA labels on buttons, icons, and form fields
• Resizable text that reflows without horizontal scrolling up to 400% zoom
• Dark and light mode support to reduce visual strain
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images
• Form validation errors identified in text (not colour alone)
• Skip-to-main-content link on page load

The Hirebyai platform can be navigated entirely using a keyboard. Common keyboard shortcuts:

• Tab — Move forward through interactive elements
• Shift + Tab — Move backward through interactive elements
• Enter / Space — Activate buttons and links
• Escape — Close modals and dropdown menus
• Arrow keys — Navigate within menus and tab panels

We test our platform with NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (macOS/iOS). If you experience issues with your assistive technology, please contact us.

We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are actively working to address them:

• The animated neural network visualisation on the landing page may cause discomfort for users with vestibular disorders. We recommend enabling "Reduce Motion" in your operating system settings, which will suppress these animations.
• The drag-and-drop Kanban board (employer hiring pipeline) does not currently have a full keyboard alternative. A list-based alternative view is available in the same section.
• Some complex data tables may not yet have full column header associations for screen readers. We are updating these.
• PDF export functionality may produce documents that are not fully tagged for screen readers.

We aim to resolve all known critical accessibility barriers within 30 days of identification.
